The Kentucky Baptist Fellowship leads this branch of the rural poverty initiative called Mountain Hope.  The Emma Quire Mission Center in Booneville (Owsley County) is a key effort.  KBF has also been involved in Powell County's Nada community, which is a "pocket of poverty."  To see photos from a July 2006 construction project called "Extreme Build," click here.
